We hate being left out of things. It drives us crazy. Some of our friend's kids rang in the year with croup, some with ear infections, coughs, colds, trips to the ER b/c they hurt their leg on a slide.
Well we were not going to be left out. Oh no siree! So, Emma went ahead and get herself a pink, gunky, goopy, crusty left eye! That's right friends. Her eye was a little pink and icky yesterday, but nothing major. This morning I woke up to the sound of Emma's little voice saying, "Mommy, my eye. It's stuck." Sure enough. That little thing was crusted shut. Thank goodness for eye drops. They are working amazing and her eye is clearing up already and isn't goopy anymore.
