Tattle Tale

Once upon a time, there was a day when Emma would repeat everything that we said. Random words or phrases. Even the not-so-appropriate words and phrases. So we (mainly me) had to really start watching what we said and really watch our language around the toddler.

Last night we were watching something on TV (I can't even remember what it was) and it was ridiculously stupid. Trying to get Emma to be cute Bill said really sarcastically and dramatically, "Oh boy!" and Emma right on cue repeated it with just as much sarcasm and drama. Me, being the not-so-appropriate-one of the two parents, said (without even thinking), "He sucks." Emma, right on cue, turns to Bill and says, "Mommy said sucks."

I was ratted out by a 2-year-old.
