Fun at the Farm with Friends!

Today Emma and I went to Davis Farmland to meet up with another mommy from my mommy board. If you didn't catch the story about the mommy board you can read about it here. We had a blast meeting up with Nikki and her very handsome boys Jack and Ben. Jack is a little older than Emma, but that didn't matter. They acted as if they were old friends and hit it off from the moment we met them in the parking lot. This was another "first time meet-up" for moms and kids so you never know how the kids will respond to one another. Little Ben who is 15 months old was adorable - I wanted to just eat him up and Emma could not get enough of him. She was constantly hugging and kissing him :).

We spent the day feeding goats, petting baby cows, touching snakes, taking chinchillas for walks on a leash, petting baby chicks, taking a hay ride, riding on ponies (or in Jack's case a donkey), and playing in the splash park! The weather was unbelievable and it was such an awesome day.

Nikki and her family only live about an hour away so we will definitely be getting together more often. Jack invited Emma over to his house, but was a little concerned b/c they don't have any girl toys :). We reassured him that Emma loves to play with ANY toys as long as she is having fun. We can't wait to see them again!
