More Pond Fun

We discovered a new pond to play in yesterday. Pepere was camping at Otter River State Forest, so we headed over to meet up with him and go for a swim in the pond. Another nice shallow and sandy place for Emma to swim and splash around in! She had a wonderful time. It was pretty hot out, so it was nice and refreshing to play in the cool water. Earlier this summer we bought a pass for the Massachusetts State Parks & Forests. This way we are able to go to any of the state parks without having to pay the parking fee. With all the visits that we have made to the pond near us, it was well worth it. We can continue to use the pass until the end of the year so we can keep going to hike, picnic, or just walk around even when it gets too cold to go swimming.
