Pumpkin Party

This past Wednesday, Emma's class hosted a Pumpkin Party in the evening. All the families were invited to come to school, enjoy some pizza, mingle and meet, put faces to names, etc. But the highlight was that each family was to bring their own pumpkin to carve. After it the sun went down, they were all lit and the children sang a Jack-o-lantern song that they had been practicing. It was a lot of fun - chilly, but fun - and the only thing was daddy (he had open house at his school that same night and couldn't be at the pumpkin party).
