school has barely even started for Bill, I am only 2 months into my new job and Emma is days away from starting a new school year and we are already dealing with a sick child. I came home last night from work to find Emma on the couch burning up with a fever. With Bill only on his 2nd day of students, it was me that drew the short straw and had to re-schedule home visits and clients to stay home with Emma today. Yes, it sucks, but what can you do. Hopefully this is not an indicator of how the school year is going to go for her. She had a rough go of it last year and always seemed to be sick with a virus.
On a side note, we are well into the planning of her 4th (yes I said 4th!!) birthday party. Hard to believe that it is only about 7 weeks away. After having a theme set for months, she changed her mind over the weekend, but no big deal. We will go with it.
Dance classes start next week and tap shoes will need to be purchased for her new class. She is ecstatic.
