Emma has been talking a lot lately about what she wants for her birthday. When she first started bringing it up, I thought her list would consist of "normal" & "typical" 4-year-old girl wishes - dolls, barbies, dress-ups, etc. Not my kid. She has the most random, but absolutely sincere, list of birthday wishes. Her list?
*money for the Felicity doll from American Girl
*stick-on earrings
*a bigger bed (she wants out of her toddler bed and into a twin bed - I agree with this wish for all of our sleep and sanity!)
*black shoes
*High School Musical movies
*Sesame Street underwear
*Lifesavers - the winter ones she says (wintergreen)
*Fancy Nancy books
*a pony
*horseback riding lessons at Lizzie's barn
Ok...really? Who asks for lifesavers and sticky earrings and a bed for their birthday?
