Swim Lessons Day #2

Emma has turned into a fish! Swimming lessons today went much differently than they did last week. No tears, no hysterical screaming, no "i wanna go home" crying. She got right in, crab walked the wall with the rest of the kids, she blew bubbles and even dunked her head several times! She floated in her back while using her hands as flippers, practiced her front crawl with Mrs. S and jumped in off the edge 3 times, one of which she allowed herself to go under. After her lesson was over, she asked to stay and swim for youth swim. We ended up staying for a full hour and she spent the whole time in the pool floating on her back, blowing bubbles, and practicing her crab walk around the entire edge of the pool. I couldn't get her out of the water when it was time to go. She just wanted to stay and swim! She was so proud of herself and she had every right to be. I was proud too!
