Emma is doing great at using the potty, but we still have some working to do. On Wednesday she went to Kevin and Lori's in her brand new princess underwear that we bought Tuesday evening. She did really well staying dry until about lunchtime when she proceeded to take herself into the playhouse and pee. So clothes were changed, new undies put on. After nap - same thing except this time it wasn't just a wet accident. So after that incident, she put on a pull-up for the rest of the afternoon. Thursday morning, went poopie in the big potty! Wahoo! Big step for her and then kept her pull-up dry until about 3 p.m. Today we were in Boston and she used the potty 2 times and kept her pull-up dry until the car ride home. So we are definitely making progress. It will just take some more time.
The Penguins
Today we went into Boston to go to the New England Aquarium with our friends Alison, Alexis, Kara, and Amaya. Emma, Alexis, and Amaya are all the same age, just a month or two apart and the LOVE hanging out together. Emma and Alexis see each other at Kevin and Lori's in the morning and hate having to say good-bye to one another. Alexis's mom (Alison) and I were in childbirth class together when we were pregnant with the girls. We met Kara and Amaya at a local park in the summer of 2007 and have been great friends ever since.
Anyway - we took the "T" into the city and braved the bitter cold to go and see the penguins and turtles. The girls had a great time watching the fish and touching sea stars. We even got to watch them operate on a fish. Seriously. Emma kept saying "Fishie boo-boo. At the doctor." She was very concerned about the fishie. We enjoyed a yummy lunch at Cheers - where everybody knows your name and of course collected some squished pennies along the way.

The Planes
I was able to find amazing airfare out to Chicago, so in just 10 days Emma and I are flying to Illinois to see Busia, Paw, Auntie Kay, Cousins Liam and Kiegan, Auntie Ali, Uncle Dan, Uncle Mike, Auntie Kate, Cousins Cole and Gavin, Auntie Michelle, Uncle Pat, Cousins Chase and Jackson, Great-Uncle Steve, Great-Auntie Deb, and Cousin Brian. Whew...we are going to be busy. We are super excited b/c babies Gavin and Jackson are the newest members of the McMahon clan and we haven't had a chance to meet them yet. We will be able to stay for 7 days! Bill has school and the gym is closed for me, so it is the perfect time to go. We can't wait!
